Vintage Bamboo Dessert Set

This is a gorgeous 12 piece set of Vintage Stainless Steel dessert utensils with Bamboo Handles Set in their original vase!

Made in Japan in the late 1950s or early 1960s,  the set comes in a case with brass fasteners on each end. The inside of the case is lined in a deep red satin to cradle the set in indented positions.

The handles are made of bamboo that have been varnished.  These pieces should be hand washed to to preserve the varnish. The stainless knife blades are inscribed "STAINLESS JAPAN".
