This is an exquisite antique Famille Rose vase. You can tell it’s an antique because there is gold gilding in the hair of all the family members. Each familial scene is surrounded by a gold Greek key border. There are multiple scenes of flowers and birds and butterflies throughout. This vase is 9 inches tall and 4” wide at the shoulder. The opening is 2” inches diameter.
It is in excellent antique condition although there is a little bit of color loss to the rim and some very minor surface flakes. This piece is all hand painted, and the detail is incredible. The polychrome colors are rich and clear. This would make an amazing addition to any Rose medallion collection.
